February 1, 2018, dr Anna Avdiushchenko took part in the 7th International Waste Management Forum SOSEXPO 2018. For several years, the SOSEXPO Forum has been one of the most important events in the waste management industry in Poland.
This year’s edition of the SOSEXPO Forum consisted of:
- A conference divided into two main panel sessions: „The EU Package for Circular Economy – what are its goals and what does it mean for Poland?” and „Innovation: mechanisms, examples, risks”.
- Training workshops on the implementation of new rules for the selective collection of municipal waste and achieving ecological goals by 31.12.2020 and the standards of secondary raw materials expected by packaging waste processing plants.
- Exhibitions at which interesting, innovative and modern solutions and products of the waste management industry were presented.
The forum was organized by the Board of the Warsaw Fair. The event was attended by representatives of government and self-government administration, industrial and business environments, public institutions, research institutes, as well as waste management facilities.
