CE4reg project research results were presented at the International Conference on Raw Materials and Energy in a Circular and Low-Carbon Economy.
Conference on Raw Materials and Energy in a Circular and Low-Carbon Economy was held on 14-15 September 2017 in the Museum of Municipal Engineering in Krakow. The conference was co-organized by MEERI PAS in Kraków, GAP Foundation and financially supported by National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Poland.
The first day of the conference was devoted to urban circular economy and the concept of Idea-city proposed by Professor Jerzy Hausaner. During the opening session Professor Jonna Kulczycka, research partner form CE4reg project, presented results of survey on circular economy public awareness in Malopolska region conducted by research team of the project. At the presentation was shown general understanding of the circular economy and sustainable development ideas by respondents and also presented differences in attitudes and behaviour between inhabitants from urban and rural areas, small and big cities.
The results of research are going to be published at environmental economics and management focused international journals and at Polish AURA popular science journal in order to present research results for wider society.
