Joanna Kulczycka, associate prof.

Head and founder of Department of Strategic Research at MEERI. In 1988 she graduated from the Faculty of Production at the Cracow Academy of Economics (economy/international trade), in 1998 she received her doctorate in Economic Sciences (economy/management), and from 2012 she is the holder of a doktor habilitowany degree (economy/commodity sciences), and in 2013 professor (nadz.) at the AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Management. She has authored of over 200 publications including 1st book about LCA in Polish, 1st Polish Minerals Yearbook, and more than 70 scientific research articles on possibilities and effectiveness of material recovery, economic evaluation of minerals and waste management and pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. She is experienced in realizing different EU projects LICYMIN, LIFETIME, Timber, European Waste Management, RAMEA, Sigma for water, Difass, Polish scientific projects (NCBiR, structural funds). Expert of EU H2020 SC5 Advisory Group for Societal Challenge 5 ‚Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials, Member of Polish Academy of Science Committee for Sustainable Management of Raw Materials and president of Polish Center of Life Cycle Assessment (PCLCA). In Scopus database her Hi index = 6, there are 51 documents, and number of citation = 160.
